• You can now disable the numbered unread message counters, both for the app icon on the task bar/ dock or just the ones inside the window. It's in the app settings on the top left, under 'Notifications'. [Commit]

• PMs you're actively looking at won't increase the amount of unread messages anymore. [Commit]
• Fixed an issue for Electron 39.8.1+ builds from specific Linux package managers while using Wayland (what a mouthful!), where the image and profile preview would never disappear after moving your mouse cursor away. [Commit]
