Added ​

  • Windows and Linux versions of Horizon now come with a proper, standalone portable release that does not require installation and keeps its data in a nearby folder. [Commit]

  • Redesigned the status history menu to fix some jank and inconsistencies: [Commit]
    • Statuses that are pinned are no longer also shown in the history list
    • Pinning a status no longer selects it as well, bc that's kinda dumb. Also, tooltips were added for those toggles
    • You can't click "Select" with nothing selected anymore
    • It just looks prettier 😃
  • The window control buttons on Windows and Linux now use your system's native look and features. [Commit]
  • Clicking the 'Check for updates' option in the app menu now tells you if there is no new update, instead of leaving you sad and alone with no answer. [Commit]
  • Some receiving/ giving kinks-- like Storytelling (Player)/ Storyteller (Narrator), now properly count their opposite versions as a match instead of trying to match two players together. [Commit]

Fixed ​

  • Fixed a regression where network-related disconnects would no longer attempt to automatically reconnect you. [Commit]
  • Fixed the first conversation you open in a session (the console) not being considered part of the navigation history when using your mouse's forward and backward buttons. [Commit]
  • Fixed issues where opening a new tab right after deleting a character on the website would keep that character in your list. [Commit]

Development ​

  • Upgraded to Electron 43 (v43.7.6) from 42.4.1. [Commit]
  • MacOS CI builds now ship a .dmg instead of a double .zip file. [Commit]
